Scary Movies (Warning - LAME!!!)
chrixx | December 19, 2005Has anyone noticed the way Korean/Japanese horror movies are named? I mean it looks like they’re titled “The” followed by some noun. There’s The Ring, The Phone, The Grudge, The Fog, The Ghost, The Stairs, The Office, The Toilet, The Room, The Water, The School, The Bus, The Car, The Girlfriend and now, as I’ve just discovered, The Wig! Really, isn’t there a better way to name horror flicks rather than everyday items? I mean I can also make a horror movie myself and it should be based on some relatively normal objects. I’ll have one called The Streamyx and the storyline will revolve a terrible ISP providing broadband connection sooooo bad that it makes you bleed your ears (and eyes) out! I’m also up for one called The Computer (or has it been done already?) where you spend hours typing an incredibly interesting and looong blog entry; and before you have the chance to hit the “Post” button, Windows crashes and an eerie blue coloured screen comes up. The caption reads something along the lines of “You have performed a fatal error. You will be terminated in 7 days. Hit CTRL-ALT-DEL now if do not wish to wait.” Since waiting for 7 days is excrutiatingly slow, you’ll just hit CTRL-ALT-DEL. You’ll probably die from a heart attack now having discovered you’ve lost your assignment which you’ve worked on for days (because you didn’ turn off the PC and didn’t save your work).
Maybe there should be one called The Ramen. No one will eat Ramen noodles after that :icon_lol:
